Great doctor. Very engaged during my visit. It seems rare to actually have much of a conversation w/ doctors these days. They are too wrapped up in typing things into a computer or rushing to their next patient. Dr. Paredez took the time to listen to what my concerns were, review recent relevant procedures performed by other doctors, and discuss a number of options / recommendations. He also relayed some relevant personal experience – which made the discussion very relatable. Fortunately, in my case, he assessed my situation as being relatively benign and was reassuring in his suggestions of minimal intervention and keeping an eye on it. He did not push pills or procedures as it sometimes seems doctors are incentivized to do these days. His office staff was also professional and prompt. The only down side is parking prices have now been raised to $6/hr for the pleasure of parking at XiMed. Not the doctor’s fault of course.

We have been waiting 2 weeks for the results for my son who, we were told May have Lymphoma. Every effort to get hold of someone and get a response is futile! The stress on us is as parents and my son, who has slumped into a depression is excruciating! The results appeared briefly on my son’s portal 3 days after endoscopy and then instantly removed. That was 10 days ago and no messages. Today I attempted, whilst in Australia to get the results and was transferred to a voicemail, the same vm that hasn’t responded to the past 4 over 5/6 days of messages left!
