I love a place that specializes and this is no exception. The roast beef is perfect and every sandwich we got was uniquely delicious. Side note, the chicken tenders order was massive and so freakin good.
I tried a super beef and cheese steak, both were really incredible but the super beef was something so in a league of its own. The meat was perfect, tender and beefy, it had just the right salt leve, I’ll definitely visit again.
Super delicious east coast style sandwiches! I’ve had the roast beef sandwich and it was very good but my go to sandwich is the Italian. It’s hard to find sandwiches in San Diego that remind me of back east (I’m from Massachusetts) but this Italian sub is definitely legit.
It’s a tiny shop so I suggest ordering pick up online through their website and that makes it really easy.
The greasiest, floppiest onion rings I’ve ever come across. Hardly any of the batter was crunchy or even crispy let alone attached to the rings when you pick them up. You’re really just eating a soggy, soft onion with no crunch whatsoever. The fact that they give a huge portion of onion rings still does not add any value when it’s all just a mushy mess in a bag. Other than that the super beef and french dip sandwiches were on point. Just save your money and skip the onion rings for $16.64.
First impression not good I ordered a steak and cheese and a mini onion rings first off I got my order and asked if I get a BBQ sauce with my onion rings owner said no you get horseradish mustard sauce I waited a second thinking he would just get me a BBQ sauce but nope I spent 25 bux on a sandwich and onion rings and I cant even get a BBQ sauce but he did give me 5 ketchup packets haha so I open my food and the onion rings looked horrible barely any of the breading stayed on the onion and the onion were extremely thin or giant chunks now to the sandwich it had a generous portion of meat but the meat had NO seasoning very bland definitely not worth the 25 bux I just dont think this place has the recipe for success
