This was our second time dining at the OB Surf Lodge, and once again, it didn’t disappoint! The oceanfront setting is perfect for a relaxing breakfast, with fast and friendly service that makes you feel right at home. We chose a bar bench with a fantastic view of the surfers in the distance—absolutely ideal for soaking in the morning vibe.
A word of advice: skip the parking garage next door! At $12 an hour, it’s overpriced, and the empty garage had an unpleasant smell. Instead, we found free street parking for two hours, which saved us $24—definitely worth it!
As for the food, it was simply amazing. Our hostess was helpful and suggested a few options; I went with the Pesto Baked Eggs with Sourdough toast, while Erik opted for Dave’s Breakfast Special. Both were delicious—clean plate club all around! It’s clear the ingredients are fresh, and the attention to detail really shows. I personally love trying something I would not make at home and this pesto egg bake was delicious! Even the manager made rounds to ensure everything was to our satisfaction, which was a nice touch.
They are also dog friendly and have a PUP Menu available for your furry pet.
Overall, OB Surf Lodge offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views and exceptional food. Highly recommend and can’t wait for next time!
Stopped in for breakfast and it was DELICIOUS!!! I had the Avo, Egg, + Cheese sandwich and a blueberry pancake. It was probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. Awesome ocean view and super friendly staff. 1000% recommend! 🤩
The food we all got was delicious! The garlic Parmesan wings were fantastic and the Mac and cheese was awesome!!! The service was great and the staff was very friendly. Definitely try it out!!
Great location with a nice view of the ocean and food to match. Highly recommended. Loved the country fried steak, perfectly done with mushroom gravy. Didn’t try the sausage gravy because we were told it was the sweet version and not a big fan of sweet gravy. The country potatoes were crisp and hot. Daughter loved the lodge burger as well. A definite win.
Food – fantastic! We had the crab and bacon benny and the strawberry brûlée French toast. So good!
Service – outstanding! Both the host and the server were so friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere – open and comfortable. You can watch the surfers from the restaurant and there is outdoor seating.
