I love the style of this place: modern with a traditional italian twist. The people are always welcoming and warm and you feel home as soon as you walk in. The food is amazing and delicious: it’s very authentic italian food with high quality ingredients. We will come back soon for sure!
Came for the Brasato as we have been searching for good risotto in San Diego. The meat here was decadent – great flavor and fell apart at the touch. The saffron risotto personally left me wanting more flavor, BUT the meat really pulled the dish to success for me here. Next time we come here we will be trying the fungi risotto instead (again, we’re on a risotto mission).
Cannoli was amazing. Great size, mini chocolate chips, filling was wonderful, would order again.
We sat inside – very nice, modern look, romantic lighting. GREAT staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful.
Overall, 4/5 because we left still on the search for a risotto that satisfies our risotto cravings!
We enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night date at this authentic gem. Our dinner was exceptional—both the pasta and the sauce were a perfect 10/10. The service was top-notch, with genuine Italians offering excellent wine and food recommendations. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between classic Italian charm and modern touches.
We ordered the pappardelle with Italian sausage, truffle, and mushrooms, which was absolutely divine—truly our favorite! We also tried the rigatoni piccanti with vodka sauce, which added a delightful spicy twist to a classic dish. We can’t wait to return!
The restaurant has left my husband and I speechless the atmosphere was outstanding felt like home. The waiters are very friendly give outstanding recommendations and the dishes were outstaanding. Started with a Caesar salad which was phenomenal. Our entree’s were the lobster ravioli and the lasagna which was amazing and 1000% recommend. Also had the tiramisu to end the meal with something sweet ❤️ and don’t get me started with the selection of wine it’s amazing ! 🤩
My husband and I dined at Fortuna last night, our 4th visit. The experience gets better with each visit. I’m planning on eventually trying every delicious item on the menu. Impeccable service and attention to detail. The best new Italian restaurant in town.
