This place is really good. The food fried chicken is served fresh- made to order and the wait time was not bad at all. The fries are good. They have a really unique coleslaw with dill pickles in it. I could have eaten a bucket of that. The biscuits were just ok. Don’t need to reorder those. They have fun fountain drinks and we enjoyed those. The cookies are really good – just wish they were warm. I like the ambiance- unique open indoor/outdoor concept. We sat under a heater picnic table style. It was nice. They have corn hole and you can play while you wait for your food. I had to give it a 4 – Star because it was a really weird smell coming from somewhere like old dish water or something. Couldn’t figure it out. Great food, great staff. Good eats!

Really great chicken sandwich – we came with a group and it was a perfect environment for that. The classic chicken sandwich was perfect: good spice level, seasoned well, and with just the right amount of sauce and add-ons.
The fries were delicious as well. No complaints!
UPDATE- The chicken was RAAAW.
We took home the leftovers, and my dad was eating a piece that was FULL ON RAW. This was so scary!!

Chicken has excellent flavor, and fries with ranch is the best combo. I would skip in the biscuits as they are a little underbake for my preference. Overall good eats.
Chicken Shack
I love when I get surprised by something. Had lunch at this great chicken shack in Little Italy. First off the french fries are the best fries I’ve ever had anywhere. Usually fries are fries to me. These were perfectly cooked, tasty, and perfectly salted. The chicken sandwich was as good as any I’ve had and it wasn’t deep fried. Also, the vibe is so cool… southern chicken shack meets California hip, with a cornhole play spot, and outdoor seating. Really well done.
